pamandkids-med Pamela Weeks, a native of Cedartown, Georgia, began her entertainment career writing and singing country music. After a series of appearances at children’s hospitals and other charity events, she founded U-R Special, a philanthropic foundation to promote self-esteem, drug-free and anti-violence messages to school children. The organization also fosters goodwill to the residents of nursing homes, mental health patients, as well as children’s hospitals. Her Cool is Me - I’m Drug Free program is targeted at kindergarten and elementary school students.

At the tender age of two, Pamela sang gospel music in North Georgia churches. Having received formal vocal training at Shorter College, she now uses her gospel talent to blend country music with a message of hope. This energetic performer hosted her own show in Atlanta on cable TV for seven years. The American Adventures-sponsored show, called The Pam & Buffy™ Show, featured her partner, a drug-free, shaggy, flop-eared sheepdog known as Buffy™, and their backup singers The Buffettes, ages 2-10. Recently she is putting her hosting talents to work on a new Public Service TV show called Kids Talk. Hosted and Produced by Pam the show tackles issues that effect children and families today. Kids Talk airs on Sunday morning at 6:30 on PAX.
